Aruba's Queen Beatrix International Airport, recently remodeled and expanded, is a state of the art facility and meets all standards set forth by the American Disabilities Act (ADA). This includes rest rooms, holding areas, ticketing and check-in areas. Included is a fully equipped medical facility with highly trained professionals. Arrangements can be made with facility for special needs upon arrival and/or departure as well as emergency treatment while at the airport. Medical personnel are also permitted aboard aircraft in emergencies and for evaluation. For further information, please call (297) 582-4800 ext. 300.

The airport has a dedicated terminal explicity for travellers to and from the United States including TSA security, US Customs, US Immigration and US Agricultural inspectors. It will not be necessary for travellers go through these procedures upon arrival at their US destination.

Aruba is served by a number of major airlines and connections can be made to any part of the world. Aruba is also served by seasonal charter flights from many major airline hubs in the US and Canada.

The departure tax for Aruba is US $36.75 to the U.S. and is usually included in the cost of your airline ticket. For all other destinations, the departure tax is US $33.50.

A number of cruise ships also call at Aruba. You will arrive and depart from a modern Cruise Ship Terminal located in downtown Oranjestad.
